CATALINA LIGHTING TEAMS WITH CHRISTOPHER LOWELL
FOR PRE-COORDINATED LIGHTING SOLUTIONS
MIAMI,
Florida (May 16, 2002) – Catalina Lighting, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: “CALI.OB”),
a leading international designer, manufacturer and distributor of lighting
products for residential and office environments, today announced it has
signed an exclusive agreement with Christopher Lowell, Emmy Award-winning
designer, author and television personality, to produce decorative lighting
under the Christopher Lowell brand.
Lowell, the
enormously popular host of The Christopher
Lowell Show, Discovery Channel’s highest-rated daytime series, is also
author of a best-selling book, Christopher Lowell’s Seven Layers of
Design. In both his
television show and book, Lowell helps consumers solve decorating dilemmas and
create room design projects sequentially and without fear, empowering them to
create spaces that fit their lifestyles.

The Christopher
Lowell Lighting CollectionÔ
will feature products that fit into Lowell's concept of “stress-free,
pre-coordinated solutions for the home.” Consumers may choose
pre-coordinated lighting solutions from four lifestyle design categories:
Town, Country, City and Shore. These lighting options will be complementary in
scale, style and color to Lowell’s furniture and home décor product lines,
already available nationwide.
The Christopher
Lowell Lighting CollectionÔ
was introduced at Highpoint Furniture Market in April 2002.
The full line will be launched at the October 2002 Highpoint Market.
